Discipline and hard work isn't what gets most people to get in shape and stay consistent
It's just not.
Sometimes you just go somewhere, you make some friends, you start feeling good, you like the people you’re around, you like how your body starts to feel
...then you like how your body starts to change in the mirror
…and suddenly, it becomes a part of your life
And the crazy part? This doesn’t cost you anything.
At this point, you literally can’t go a day without thinking about that one thing
that frees your mind from everything else.
You Don’t Need to Wait for Something Big
A lot of people think that in order to really lock in and stay locked in
and become one of those people who say “fitness is my life”
They need some big turning point.
A New Year’s resolution
Some kind of challenge
A BIG MOMENT WHERE EVERYTHING CLICKS!
Or worse… when something is going wrong
Like your health has been compromised
Or your doctor tells you something needs to change, or else...
But here’s the thing… I don’t want you to get to that point.
No one should have to get to that point.
Yes, those things happen, but that’s usually when you’re already in a bad place.

It’s not always about hardcore discipline
and motivation isn’t always going to be there, you hear that all the time.
So yes, discipline and hard work helps....
But it doesn’t always have to be this hardcore, military-mindset type of thing.
So How Do You Stay Consistent For Real?
Sometimes you really just have to try different things until you find what works for you.
You’re not supposed to love everything.
And you’re not going to like something just because a friend likes it either.
That’s why trying different things matter.
Because if you don’t, you’ll never actually find what works for you.
Try things that actually feel good.
For a lot of people...fitness didn’t start in the gym
It probably started in a random thing someone invited them to on a Friday night...
or something they saw and thought, “That looks fun, let me try it”
It starts in an environment that feels fun, not forced.
And most of these things?
You can try them for free, or for a very low cost.
You can try things like:
Yoga
Pilates
Cycling
Spin classes
Dance workouts
Tennis
Swimming
Rock climbing
Group training sessions
Any one of those could be your thing… but you won’t know until you try!
Go Where the People Already Are
Instead of trying to force your current friends to get into fitness with you…
(A lot of people do this and it's normally what kills their progress before it starts)
Go where people are already enjoying it.
Most times, if your friends aren’t into it, they’re not into it for a reason and that’s okay.
Maybe one day they’ll be inspired by you.
But instead of forcing it, find the people who are already there.
That’s why you have to try different environments and meet different people.
That’s how most people start showing up consistently because they’re actually enjoying themselves.
That’s where they found their thing.
And the energy there is different, because you’re around people who actually want to be there.
You can find that in:
• local gyms and fitness studios
• parks and walking trails
• tennis courts
• dance studios
• community centers
• group classes
• wellness events
And here's the kicker...
You will start seeing the same people
And you will start talking
Maybe one day you ask to borrow something as simple as a charger
the next thing you know, one day they’re like...
“Hey, I didn’t see you yesterday, are you okay?"
And before you know it… you feel like you belong there
This is what actually keeps you going.
That’s the part nobody talks about.
It’s not just about working out or getting fit.
It’s about having fun.
You’re doing something good for your body, but you’re enjoying it
and suddenly, you’re showing up more.
Not because you’re forcing yourself
Not because you “have to"
But because you want to be there
